Our Family, Our Business, Our Story
Before diving into the world of financial services, I spent a significant portion of my career in the construction industry. I started in the family business, working my way up from the ground level—literally. My journey began as a laborer, learning the ins and outs of the business through sheer hard work and determination. Over the years, I gained invaluable experience and eventually became a partner, helping to grow it from a modest operation into a multi-million-dollar enterprise.
Now, don't get me wrong—I love a good construction project as much as the next guy, but spending long hours away from my family and realizing I was trading time for money got me thinking. I have a beautiful wife, Sophie, and we have four amazing kids between the ages of 9-1: Jackson, Harrison, our little princess Emersyn, or "Emmy," and our youngest, Anderson. As much as I enjoyed my work, I knew I needed to find a way to spend more time with them and create a better future for us all.
After being introduced to the financial services industry, I quickly realized this could be something life-changing. It wasn’t just another job—it was an opportunity that aligned perfectly with my core values. As someone who deeply values faith, being a provider and protector for my family, and living a lifestyle of integrity, this business felt like the right fit in every way. It was a chance to help families achieve security and peace of mind, and in doing so, to build a future for my own.
The more I learned, the more I saw it as my exit strategy from the construction business. So, I decided to trade in my hard hat for a different kind of toolkit. Partnering with GFI has been a game-changer for my whole family. It's given me the chance to be present with them while also building a legacy.
So, why did I get into this business? It's simple. I wanted to create a legacy—not just for my family, but for the countless families we have the privilege to work with. I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself, something that could genuinely make a difference in people's lives. This business has given me the opportunity to do that while also providing the financial independence and freedom we were seeking.
In partnering with GFI, I've found a way to blend my passion for helping others with a sustainable business model. It's been a game-changer, not only for my family but for everyone we've been able to touch through this journey.
God Bless in 2025!
